Our study of the role of ARID1A in preventing hyperacetylation of super-enhancers is out today in Cell Reports. Mike Wilson and Jake Reske are co-first authors of the study, and with additional contributions from Chandler Lab members Jeanne Holladay, Subechhya Neupane, Nina Cuthrell and Julie Ngo. This study was performed in collaboration with groups from University of British Columbia, Wake Forest and the Van Andel Research Institute. Check out the paper here.
This week our lab will attend the first AACR Endometrial Cancer conference. Dr. Chandler will present a talk titled "Chromatin regulation of the endometrium: What are our models telling us?" as a part of Plenary Session 6: Novel Model Systems. Mike Wilson will present a virtual poster titled "Inhibition of P300 histone acetyltransferase activity rescues invasive phenotypes of ARID1A-deficient endometrial epithelium" in the Targeted Therapeutics group. Jake Reske will present a virtual poster titled "ARID1A prevents H3K27-hyperacetylation at active super-enhancers" in the Functional Genomics and Proteomics group.
